Ross D. Plont

Ross' expertise consists of Plaintiff's Personal Injury, Criminal Defense trial litigation, and Family Law. Over the more than decade Ross has been practicing law, he has handled nearly every type of civil and criminal litigation throughout this state predominantly, but also in various other jurisdictions as needed by his clients.

In an effort to maximize the quality of legal services provided to his clients while maintaining the flexibility required by the current moment in time; Ross determined that solo-practice is superior to any other legal-services delivery system, thereby launching Plont Law PLLC in July 2020. Also, at this point in his career, he is prioritizing quality over quantity and the freedom that solo-practice offers allows him to take only the cases for which he is most passionate. As has always guided his practice, he seeks to serve the oppressed, abused, underserved, and vulnerable against the various Goliaths that exist within our society.

Ross obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Human Services from Albion College while earning academic All-Conference and academic All-American honors in track and field where he served as a team captain. Ross then achieved a Juris Doctorate with cum laude honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and earned the Certificate of Merit (highest grade in class) in Pre-Trial Skills.
